A timeline of Ryerson’s radio history, 1949-2014

Despite the community’s current absence from the airwaves, campus radio has a long history at Ryerson.

On Sept. 25, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission heard the Scope at Ryerson’s application for an AM broadcasting licence. As The Scope awaits a decision on its future, The Ryersonian has compiled a timeline of Ryerson’s radio history.
