Milos Raonic wants to be number one

When the ATP released its latest world-rankings this week, Canadian tennis star Milos Raonic still found himself on the outside looking in at a coveted spot in the top ten. At his children’s charity event in support of the Milos Raonic Foundation, held at Ryerson’s Mattamy Athletic Centre Tuesday night, Raonic – already the highest-ranked men’s tennis player in Canadian […]

Coach wiser for the experience

It’s been a tough two weeks for Rams men’s hockey head coach Graham Wise. He was served a four-game suspension. His close friend and assistant was fired. And his team was forced to forfeit two crucial games in the standings. On Monday, Wise was finally able to move on and get back to business. Wise returned to the team this […]

Snitches, stitches and without riches

By: Keith Capstick Ryersonian Staff Ryerson competed in the third-annual Quidditch Canadian Cup on Saturday in search of a berth at the upcoming World Cup in April. They left with their brooms – and tails – between their legs. Ryerson’s entry in the 16-team competition struggled to keep up with other eastern-based Canadian universities. Soccer triumverate graces Ryerson athletics

Graceland University is not a place where students go to learn about Elvis. About 1,000 kilometres north of Memphis, you’ll find it in the heart of the small Christian town of Lamoni, Iowa – population: 2,300. Amish buggies own the road and businesses remain closed on Sundays. It hardly seems like an appealing place for young students looking to complete […]
