Rams hockey keeps it tame in U.S. game, while others brawl it up

Compared to many other Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) men’s hockey teams, the Ryerson Rams had a pleasant trip to the United States last weekend. The Rams travelled to Bridgeport, Conn., falling 7-4 to the National Collegiate Athletic Associations’ (NCAA) Sacred Heart Pioneers in an exhibition match on Sunday. “It was a pretty tame game. We played well,” said Rams head […]

Water trailer returned to campus

The HTO To Go water trailer had a much smoother orientation experience this year. Toronto Water blacklisted the Ryerson Students’ Union from requesting the mobile water station to attend campus events last fall. The RSU moved the trailer to accommodate Drake’s concert, which created “serious operational complications,” claimed Toronto Water. A year after the ordeal, the water trailer was back […]

The Rams men’s hockey team has added some offensive punch to its roster. Forward Matt Mistele, who registered 33 goals and 58 points in 61 Ontario Hockey League games last season, has been added to the Rams roster for the 2016-17 campaign. “We see him as the total package,” said Rams interim head coach Johnny Duco. “He’s a really good […]

Rams soccer teams back on familiar turf

The Rams soccer teams are back on a familiar field. Five of Ryerson’s eight men’s and women’s soccer home games will be played at Monarch Park Stadium this season, the field the teams called home for most of the 2014 OUA campaigns. The Rams were forced to play all home games at Downsview Park last year after field permits for […]
