Last week, Our Turn, a student-led advocacy group assigned grades to Canadian schools based on how they each deal with sexual harassment. With a A-, Ryerson came out on top.

Rams basketball’s Ammanuel Diressa prepares for final season

The Ryerson men’s basketball team has created many stars over the past few years. Ammanuel Diressa is one of their best.

Diressa is a 6’5” point guard, heading into what will be his final season with the team. He was named an OUA First-Team All-Star last season. After spending a couple of years at Tennessee Tech University, Diressa returned home and transferred to Ryerson to play for the Rams. This will be his third and final season playing for the team.

Accused makes first court appearance in Ryerson student murder case

Michal Nowaczek-Said made his first court appearance today after being charged with the murder of Ryerson student Julia Sokolov.

The 24-year-old died in hospital nine days after being found with life-threatening stab wounds in a Scarborough apartment building on Sept. 10.

Apple revolutionizes the future with the reveal of the latest iPhones

Ten years ago, Apple debuted the future of technology with the release of the first iPhone. They believe they have changed the game again with the latest models, some which will be in stores Friday morning.

Apple is releasing three new iPhones over the next two months: the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X (10).
