A Canadian celebrity managed to stop by the Ryerson campus relatively undetected on Thursday.
Singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk made an appearance in Peter Bregg’s third-year introductory photojournalism class at the Rogers Communications Centre. Her appearance was part of a photo assignment for his students.
The students huddled around the Feels Like Home singer, perched at a podium at the front of class. They were all trying to snap the best photos they could while the singer discussed her career, her latest upcoming musical collaboration, her life and her own experiences in photojournalism.
Kreviazuk also brought photos from the walls of her Toronto home to share with the class.
The special appearance went on while hundreds of prospective students toured through the building for the latest Discover Ryerson day.
