Balzac’s Coffee Roasters in the Ryerson Image Centre is now accepting OneCards.

Manager Susan Swain said students are “the bread and butter” of the coffee shop, located at Gould and Bond streets, and that they are pleased to make life easier for those who rely on meal plans.

Balzac’s decided to join the list of food services that accept student cards after requests from students and the OneCard office over the past year.

“It drives sales and is very easy to use,” said Swain.

She added that OneCards account for 10-15 per cent of sales so far this school year.
