Fridays Live: D.O. and Robb Johannes from Paint

Fridays Live is a an audio series showcasing Canadian talent. Each week, we’ll bring in two artists for an interview and live performance.



Canadian rapper D.O. (Defy the Odds) has worked with Maestro Fresh Wes, Saukrates and Classified. He’s also broken a Guinness World Record in 2003 for rapping for the longest time. His fourth studio album Down Home comes out April 22, 2014.

Robb Johannes is both the singer/frontman for the Toronto indie rock band, Paint, and a mayoral candidate for the Toronto 2014 election. The band is currently working on a black-and-white film, called 11:11. The film will be narrated by four songs that will make up their third LP. Paint will be playing at Canadian Music Week on May 8, 2014.
