Alexa Huffman chatted with Virginia to Vegas, otherwise known as Derik John Baker. He grew up in a small town in Ontario and his debut single, “We Are Stars,” has currently moved up to number 16 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and is getting rave reviews. He talked about songwriting, filming the music video with Alyssa Reid and touring with Reid who was opening for Hedley.

Plaid on Flannel, also known as Nolan Randall, is a musician who describes his sound as rock with a mix of blues. Originally from Peterborough, he’s currently a music student in Toronto at Centennial College.He played his new song, “Something On Your Mind.”
