“I started working in second-year, just at the end of first semester. I had no money left and I lived in residence the year before, which was really expensive. I started working part-time, basically for day-to-day stuff and groceries. I dedicate my summers to saving money for tuition. I have a few friends who work in the restaurant industry and they find it really hard to work and go to school because they work until 3 a.m. on school nights. I think if you work at the right place though, and they get that you are a student, it can be good. I am in that position right now so I am really happy and grateful.”
