This Friday, the MAC is hosting the Heroes Hockey Challenge (HCC) to support the families of wounded soldiers and those killed in combat.

Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni will face off against the HHC Warriors, consisting of active Canadian Forces members in the GTA, in a friendly hockey game presented by this year’s charity Wounded Warriors Canada.

To date, the event has raised almost $200,000 since 2012.

The high profile event will bring together Canadian Forces personnel with the former and active NHL players, the corporate community and everyday citizens, while participating in the opening and closing ceremonies on centre ice.

Fans will have also have the chance to participate in apparel sales, a silent auction, 50/50 and a raffle for large items, such as a skidoo or motorcycle.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the game begins at 7 p.m. For more information regarding tickets, check out:
