A pair of back-to-back wins over the Nipissing Lakers concluded the men’s hockey team pre-season schedule.

The Rams scored four goals in five minutes in the second period to overcome a 2-0 first-period deficit to secure their 4-3 win Friday night at the Mattamy Athletic Centre.

Rams’ forward Mitch Gallant scored two of the four goals to help his team’s cause. The Rams outshot the visitors 52-35.

The Rams are looking to improve on last year’s 12-16 record and first-round playoff exit to Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.

They kick off the season with the home opener game against the McGill Red Birds next Friday night at the Mattamy Athletic Centre at 7 p.m.
