RSU announces delay in health insurance opt-out cheques

The Ryerson Students’ Union (RSU) announced a delay of about a week in refunds for students who opted out of the union’s health and dental insurance coverage online. The RSU initially promised that refunds would be issued on Nov. 10. Now that’s been pushed until Nov. 17.

The RSU announced the delay on their Facebook and Twitter pages, apologizing for the delay. Students who submitted a refund request in-person will not be affected by this update – cheques can still be picked up starting Nov. 10 with their  at the Member Services Office.
