Rajean Hoilett has been voted Ryerson Students’ Union president for the 2014-2015 school year. Once again, the RSU executive will be fully stacked with members from the same slate.
Hoilett beat runner-up Roble Mohamed by 1,182 votes.
Four of its members who ran unopposed for the vice-president positions have received enough “yes” votes to secure their positions on the executive team.
Unite Ryerson is a new slate with platforms similar to Students United, which has held a stake in the students’ union for more than five years.
The current RSU executives will continue in their roles until the 2013-2014 school year comes to an end April 30. The next executive team will take up their roles in office May 1.
