This weekend is marked by a glut of games for Ryerson sports fans who can look forward to catching their basketball, volleyball, and hockey teams in action on campus Friday through Sunday.

Get up to speed on the women’s hockey team before their Saturday matchup against Guelph by settling in and watching all the highlights from this Thursday’s game at home to the surging Brock Badgers.

Celebrity captain Sam Roberts and Maple Leafs legend Wendel Clark mixed it up with some NHL old-timers and Torontonian hockey lovers alike, during an alumni game at Nathan Phillips Square. We’ll catch up with Clark for his thoughts on the big charity game played in a biting cold.

The event is the official kick-off of the ninth annual Scotiabank Baycrest Pro-Am, taking place in Toronto from May 1-3, 2014. The largest charity hockey tournament of its kind, the Scotiabank Baycrest Pro-Am has raised more than $23 million for Alzheimer’s research.

Yes, it was a great day in sports for Ryerson, and it should only whet your appetite for the weekend to come, so stay up to date with the Ryerson Sportscast.
