Unite Ryerson sweeps RSU elections amidst declining voter turnout

This year’s Ryerson Students’ Union election saw record-low numbers of voters, continuing a trend of at least three years of declining voter turnout. Unite Ryerson’s Rajean Hoilett, a third-year social work student, took the RSU presidency Thursday night with 1,446 of 2,004 valid votes cast.
