The Ryersonian weekly wrap is a news audio series produced by senior students in the School of Journalism in Toronto. It features weekly news from and from the Canadian University Press.

This week, the Ebola virus reached North America and pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong intensified. In Toronto, the mayoral race continues.

On campus, Ryersonian exclusive found that Ryerson’s annual parade and picnic faces a ban from the Toronto Island.

Also, the Campus Freedom Index was released this week and Ryerson received some contradictory grades. Ezra Levant made a controversial visit to campus. In arts, Nuit Blanche is this weekend. Are you going? Members of the Ryerson community have installations all over the city.

And in sports, Rams hockey begins its regular season.
