Then and now: Radio at Ryerson

Community radio at Ryerson has been through many incarnations over the years.

Click the links below to compare today’s programming at The Scope to the sound of Ryerson Community Radio (RCR), the school’s first independent student-run campus radio station.

Founded by RTA students in 1970, RCR eventually grew to become CKLN, which folded in 2011. The Scope at Ryerson was founded in April 2013 and has been broadcasting online ever since.

The Scope has filed an application for a spot on the AM dial and hopes to be on the airwaves by late 2015. Read The Ryersonian‘s coverage here.
