UPDATE: Sam sign makers offered helping hand

Even before the Sam the Record Man sign came down in 2008, the discussion began about putting it back up. After a heated debate at Toronto and East York Community Council last Tuesday, the sign’s future remains unclear.
But the Ryersonian has learned that the sign’s original creators, The Brothers Markle Inc., offered to consult Ryerson on the possible remount back in 2011.
