A severe winter storm is expected to hit Toronto today with heavy and blowing snow, according to an alert from Environment Canada. The snowfall has already begun and is expected to get heavier as the day goes on. Torontonians can expect 15 to 25 cm of snow by Wednesday morning.
Strong winds of 70 km/h are also expected, which means low visibility and whiteout conditions. If you’re planning to travel anywhere, you might want to cancel your plans and stay inside with heat and a big mug of hot chocolate.
