Webcast: Globe reporter Karen Howlett on the latest in the gas plant scandal

Alexa Huffman sits down with Karen Howlett, the Globe and Mail’s Queens Park reporter who has been covering the gas plants scandal. The Ryersonian previously reported that Wendy Wai, a Ryerson employee was allegedly given unrestricted administrative access to computers in the premier’s office when she was the assistant to David Livingston the former chief of staff to former premier Dalton McGuinty. Her high level password was then used to delete key government files related to the political decision to cancel the gas plants in Oakville and Mississauga. Police allege Peter Faist, an IT expert and boyfriend of David Livingston’s deputy Laura Miller, was the one to log on to the computers.
