A large moving van was hit by an oncoming car at the corner of Jarvis and Gerrard streets around 3 p.m. today.
Four firefighters and two police officers reported to the scene. There was a fuel leak from one of the vehicles. Firefighters have since swept sand across the scene to prevent further spilling.
“We don’t know who was at fault,” said police officer Dave Hinchcliffe. “They’re just going to have to figure it out through their insurance companies.”
The accident involved two individuals. No injuries have been reported thus far.
More to come.
