A non-Ryerson tenant tested positive for the virus
A non-Ryerson employee at 1 Dundas Street W. has tested positive for COVID-19.
Ryerson was advised of the confirmed case by Cadillac Fairview Friday night, according to an email from the Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic and the Office of the Vice-President, Administration and Operations.
The update also noted that the employee worked in one of the building’s other tenant spaces.
Ryerson leaders and employees who work at 1 Dundas Street W. were notified of the confirmed case Friday night and over the weekend, according to the update.
The office space of the impacted tenant has since been closed to conduct extensive sanitization, including the elevator banks, high touch point areas, and the main lobby of the buildings.
Toronto Public Health has reportedly advised that no further action is needed.
