Planning for a Gradual Return to Campus

This information is designed to help leaders develop a gradual plan for employees to return to campus by preparing both your workforce and your workplace.

At all stages through planning and implementation, the safety and wellbeing of our community must continue to be the first priority.

Ryerson’s overall approach to return to campus planning is informed by current public health information. The information will change as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve. Ryerson will continue to update the site with information, tips and responses to feedback from our community members.

Remote work continues as we plan for a gradual return

This fall will be a period of transition as we begin to increase the number of on-campus classes and activities in order to be prepared for a full return to all activities on campus in January 2022. This material should be used:

  • To continue to support essential workers who have been providing daily on-campus support through COVID-19.
  • In cases where campus access is required to prepare for an increase of on-campus activity in the fall semester, and if return to campus has been approved by senior leader.
