"Real men don't cry"

As men we’re often told that ‘real men’ don’t show emotions, shouldn’t express their feelings, and doing so makes us less of a man. This outdated way of thinking is not only harmful for men, it is harmful for everyone their lives touch.

Because of this:

Men have fewer friends

Men have fewer meaningful friendships (on average) than women and significantly smaller emotional and mental support networks.

Men struggle to ask for help

It can be difficult to express emotions and ask for help. Many men consider it a sign of weakness.

Men feel alone

Men feel isolated and often respond to mental stress by taking personal risks, misusing drugs and alcohol, or hurting other people.

Our goal is to provide men with a safe, barrier free community where they can connect with each other, heal from the issues that affect their lives, build new support structures, and develop a healthier and more positive view of what it means to be a man for the benefit of everyone in society.
