Spring has sprung and so have all the stylish students at Ryerson. The weather slowly made a warmer shift this week and all the fashion enthusiasts came out from hibernation. Neutral tones, pops of colour and cultural inspiration were the main themes of this episode. When it comes to street style, Ryerson never fails to have an eclectic collection of outfits on campus.
Rachel Moniz, second-year interior design:
“[My style] is more of like a street chic. Very simple, very neutral. I don’t wear too many bright colours or patterns,” said Moniz.

Kadrah Mensah, fourth-year new media:
“I primarily wear black clothes, black shoes. But my accessories or coats or outerwear [are] usually colours,” said Mensah.

Iman Munier Jaffer, fourth-year fashion communication:
“It is a little of my roots, taking it back to the homeland in a sense. You know, my house and everything in it is very warm toned. So I can pull that and a bit of a ‘fresh monk,’” said Jaffer.
