Ryerson students organized a jewelry sale to raise funds for Lifeline Syria, an organization supporting the resettlement of 1,000 Syrian refugees in the Greater Toronto Area over the next two years.
The group’s Ryerson chapter set up the sale in the Ted Rogers School of Management on Thursday and will continue until Friday at 3 p.m.
An original goal to support 10 Syrian families by the Ryerson chapter has since increased to 75 families, or 300 refugees.
