On Nov. 13, third-year fashion communication students hosted STOIC 2014.
The show, held in the school of interior design, was a runway show and photo exhibit showing fashion student’s work.
The runway show was an exploration of the philosophy of stoicism, which featured designs made by students in the fashion design program, styled by the STOIC team. The photo gallery showcased portraits by the fashion communication students.
STOIC acted as a trial for Mass Exodus, said Taiba Irfan, who was part of PR and marketing for the event. The event gave students in charge a chance to see how they can work together as a team.
“I’m very, very confident that Mass Exodus is going to be better than any other year,” said Irfan. “This was supposed to be a practice run [for Mass Exodus], but it turned out really well for a first-time show.”
Mass Exodus 2015 will be held on April 1, 2015.
