This week, The Ryersonian reported on the proposed tuition increase for Ryerson University. Ryerson’s Board of Governors discussed the need for the increase and the Ryerson Students’ Union (RSU) voiced their opposition.
We know that Ontario students pay the highest tuition in all of Canada, but we were curious about what other provinces are paying and how much tuition has gone up over the years.
Here we have provided the numbers since 2009.
We were also interested in the average tuition students will pay for a specific field of study. Therefore, we made another nifty graph based on the programs available at Ryerson.
