The Ryerson Students’ Union election vote count has been postponed due to weather. Voting will be extended until tomorrow.
“We recognize that the heavy snowfall today made it difficult for many students to make it to campus and feel that an extra day will allow students that weren’t able to make it to the poll because of the weather to do so if they wish,” said chief returning officer Zachary Smith in an email.
Students will be able to vote Feb. 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the library and engineering buildings, and in the Ted Rogers School of Management.
The vote count has been moved to 6:30 p.m. in Oakham House’s Thomas Lounge.
The results will be screened in the Ram in the Rye as ballots are counted.
