Toronto is well-known for its multiculturalism—over half of its population is born outside of Canada.
According to Abu Arif, co-ordinator for Ryerson’s International Student Services, that multiculturalism is what makes the city so attractive to international students. At Ryerson University alone, international students represent 118 different countries around the world.
