Ryerson will be represented in the 2018 Winter Olympics. The Rams announced that Alana Goulden, Ryerson Athletics’ equipment coordinator, will be assisting Team Canada, working as an equipment manager for the women’s hockey team.
Goulden has worked full-time at Ryerson since 2012. She has been on leave since July 2017, when she moved to Calgary in preparation for the Winter Games. Pyeongchang will be her first Olympic Games.
Today was the opening ceremony in South Korea, and we are cheering for Team Canada. The women’s hockey team will play their first game against Russia on Feb. 11 at 7:10 a.m.
