Ryerson’s Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) MBA program has been ranked in the top 10 in the country – based on reputation – by Canadian Business.
The magazine ranked Ryerson’s program in 10th place overall. The Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto took first place.
“I’m tremendously excited,” said Chris MacDonald, interim director of TRSM’s MBA program. “We already knew we had a great program, but it’s very nice to see perception catching up with reality.”
It’s the first time the program has been placed among the top 10 Canadian MBA programs in its 10-year history. Last year the program earned a spot in The Economist’s ranking of the top-100 MBA programs in the world, placing 92nd.
Since the creation of the MBA Global and the MBA in Management of Technology and Innovation programs in 2006, the number of graduates has increased from 50 to over 500 and boasts a 95 per cent successful employment rate six months after graduation.
“We are one of the most respected case-competition teams in Canada, and you can see why we’re immensely proud of what the program has achieved,” said MacDonald.
