This fall Ryerson is opening its biggest student residence, HOEM. The last time Ryerson had a new residence was 25 years ago, with the opening of Pitman Hall.
Located at 186 Jarvis St., the building has 30 floors and 593 rooms. Students will have the option to live in two, three and four-bedroom apartments.
As of now, students can apply to live there and the school says that rooms are open to, “first and upper-year students.”
The building came to be as a result of a private partnership between Ryerson and the Canadian Student Communities Inc. (CSCI), a company that owns and operates student residences around universities.
This is a joint byline.
