Thanks to the drop in temperature, fall fashion trends have hit campus. In honour of the colder weather, we decided to focus on coats and jackets for this week’s RyeStyle.
1) Jess Cheng: arts and contemporary studies, third-year
We were drawn to Jess immediately as she walked down Gould Street. We love the vintage styling of her Mackage leather jacket. The gold hardware is a perfect contrast to her otherwise understated look.
2) Erin Kerr: arts and contemporary studies, third-year
Erin’s fabulous round sunglasses are playful and eye-catching. Her camel-coloured Babaton Talula coat brought a sense of sophistication to the outfit. Otherwise, Erin kept it nice and simple with a base of basic black.
3) Said Abdi: civil engineering, third-year
Said’s bomber jacket from Topman is the perfect combination of stylish and classy. His look is effortless and monochromatic, and his bag is particularly on point — rocking that classic, instantly recognizable Converse All-Star logo.
4) Francesco Turano: hospitality, first-year
We loved that Francesco’s navy Lacoste varsity jacket had knit sleeves rather than the traditional leather ones.
