The Ryerson Students’ Union (RSU) is holding its semi-annual general meeting this evening, where students will be able to vote on bylaw changes and motions that could alter organizational operations.

The current RU-Pass opt-out option is only available to students who require accessibility needs, Ryerson Students’ Union (RSU) president Ram Ganesh told the Ryersonian in light of students’ confusions about the pass’ opt-out process.
Motions were ruled out of order, attendance fell below the necessary level for quorum, and the meeting was adjourned before the agenda could even be approved.
The Ryerson Students’ Union (RSU) in collaboration with the Career Development Centre has created a new grant for students in unpaid internships. The Career Development Grant became official late Thursday night and applies to any Ryerson student currently in an unpaid placement, regardless if it is for a credit or not.

Ryerson’s Capital Projects and Real Estate building at 111 Bond St. will be demolished as part of a new campus development.
A pedestrian link to the Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex will replace the Bond Street building and serve as a connection from Church Street to Bond Street.
