Despite wage gap, Ryerson got a “decent report card” on gender representation among staff: investigative reporter

YouTuber and U of T student Josephine Mathias criticized Ryerson instructor Kelly Train in a video last week after Train rejected her sister’s proposal to write an essay on the wage gap being a “myth.”

In an email, Ryerson sociology instructor Kelly Train wrote that the wage gap is “very real,” before writing that “[t]he reality is patriarchy.”
