Ryerson will be closed for the duration of Tuesday as a massive winter storm hits the Greater Toronto Area.

Ryerson sent an email to all students and faculty around 5:30 this morning announcing the school’s closure, which affects all classes, university-run events, research labs, exams, mid-terms, business services and administrative operations. University residences remain open, and updates will be posted to Ryerson’s Twitter feed.
Environment Canada stated that a combination of 15 to 25 centimetres of snow and ice pellets, possible freezing rain, and strong winds is expected today into tonight. Snow will taper to flurries by Wednesday.
