Following the success of last year’s holiday market, Ryerson’s Student Learning Centre (SLC) is bringing back the holiday spirit this year.
Starting Nov. 29, people will have a chance to buy from various items like jewelery and artwork from Ryerson vendors at Shop the SLC: A Holiday Market.
“This event brings together not only students but alumni and community members that are collaborating and learning from each other during the event,” said Jess Russell, one of the market’s coordinators. “We’re so happy to host this event again and hope to continue its success in the future.”
The market will feature more than 25 vendors from various Ryerson faculties, alumni and startups from Ryerson Zone Learning.
“Ryerson is a community full of entrepreneurs and talented, creative individuals. We wanted to shine a spotlight on this homegrown talent,” wrote Russell.
The SLC hand picked each vendor to make sure they had a diverse representation of the Ryerson community. You can find food, accessories, men and women’s fashion, ceramics and home decor made from the Ryerson community at the market.
